School Rules
- A Student must carry his/her almanac and I-Card to school every day.
- Students must be in their respective classrooms at least five minutes before the bell rings. Names of students coming late will be marked as late on the school register.
- Students not using the school transport must be picked punctually after school hours. The school cannot be held responsible for the safety of pupil beyond that period.
- Students should be neatly dressed. The school uniform is to be worn on every working day. Students are sloppily dressed or not in uniform will be dealt with severely. Non-Sikh boys should get their hair cut at regular intervals. No fancy haircuts are allowed .Girls should plait their hair and pinned. Kindly note that streaking/fancy hairstyles are strictly not allowed.
- Students are expected to take proper care of school property. A student causing damage to school property will be fined. Damage done even by accident should be reported at once to the class teacher or to the Principal.
- The school will not be held responsible for the loss of personal belongings. It is advisable not to bring valuable articles like watches, cell phones, i-pods, cameras or electric gadgets. These, if brought will be confiscated and not returned to the student. Students are not allowed to wear any jewellery to school (no chain, rings, bangles, bracelets etc.). Girls may wear one pair of small ear rings or studs only. Girls should not wear kajal or eye liner.
- Students should be polite wherever they go. They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct. They should greet their teachers when they meet them. Use of foul language will be treated as a punishable offence.
- The school reserves the right to suspend or to take strict action against a student whose progress in studies is constantly unsatisfactory or whose misconduct is harmful to the other students.
- Using unfair means in test or exams is a grave offence. A student who found using with unfair means during exam will be awarded zero.
- No half day leave is permitted, unless it is an emergency.
- Students should get their Report Cards signed by their parents/guardians within three days of the receipt of the Report Cards and return them to the class teachers. If lost, a fine will be imposed.
- Students must not miss any teaching/games/library/activity/ competition period.
- No students shall indulge in any of the practices: smoking, gambling, rude behaviour, any violence, castesim or communalism, jumping the school boundary wall.
- The student must follow the rules and regulations of the school. In case a student violates the school rules or indulges in any form of indiscipline, strict action like expulsion or suspension shall be taken against the student.
- Bullying is strictly prohibited inside the school premises. No such act will go unnoticed or unpunished.
- Parents are required to carry the parents I-Card whenever they come to school.
- Parents/Guardians are not allowed to visit their wards or teachers in the classrooms without the permission of the Principal.
